Lilian Myers
Chief Executive Officer
Lilian brings nearly 20 years of entrepreneurial, executive, and tech industry experience to the startup of Scottsdale, AZ-based Allviant. Her passion for ground-breaking tech ventures began when she was with Microsoft in the early 1990s. As a part of a tiny team she was responsible for driving enterprise Windows and BackOffice adoption through new product development partnerships with visionary vertical software companies. In that role she rolled up her sleeves to work on joint business plans and go-to-market strategies that resulted in new markets for both Microsoft and her partners.
Lilian’s relationship with Allviant’s founder and chairman, goes back to 1997, when Lassetter was engaged by Avio, a company she left Microsoft to help found, to help deliver one of the first integrated practice information systems for large physician groups to include an electronic medical record technology. There, Lilian led startup and growth of products, marketing, sales, and account management and was instrumental in raising capital from both strategic and venture sources. When the company’s products were acquired by Shared Medical Systems (now Siemens), Lilian went on to found consulting firm, eGlobal Strategies where she and her partners worked with numerous start-ups and big companies including London Bridge and Microsoft, to identify market opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies and start new businesses. She went on to join online retail technology vendor Channel Intelligence as VP Marketing and Corporate Development, then later became part of the management team at the University of Central Florida’s Venture Lab, a leading economic development force in Central Florida for moving local innovations from idea to operations, funding, and into the market.
Lilian has long been active in her community, serving on the board of Children’s Home Society of Florida where she chaired the statewide governance committee, as well as the regional fund development committees and was voted Board Member of the year in 2002. She has been involved in local and regional green policy initiatives and is a regular speaker on entrepreneurship at local events and graduate level classrooms. She has one son, Derin, who in addition to his job as an analyst with a leading hedge fund of funds, is working on his MBA at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
