Case Study

CarePass is being used at Arizona State University to manage numerous employee wellness programs and events. More than 21% of ASU’s employees at the Tempe campus have registered for CarePass to date.

CarePass technology allows ASU employees to opt-in to the categories of health and wellness information they’re interested in most such as pregnancy, asthma-related information, smoking cessation and stress management, and how they want to receive it. CarePass also makes it easy for employees to register for these programs with a simple one-click registration process.

Within five months of implementing CarePass, ASU Employee Wellness has increased overall employee program participation by 60% – without the use of incentives. Attendance for general health screenings doubled with diet and fitness programs seeing 85% increases — these are the categories attributed to changes in lifestyle that drive down the cost of care.

CarePass has become the preferred means of registering for wellness classes, with nearly 2/3 of all wellness program registrations done through CarePass.

Why?

  • CarePass allows ASU employees to choose their means of communication and engagement – email, text or phone.
  • Employees can now specify areas of interest they feel are relevant to them
  • CarePass allows employees to choose and register for programs of interest – without needing to go online
  • It’s faster & easier to use than the existing wellness program registration system
  • CarePass makes it easy for program administrators to communicate information in a timely manner
  • CarePass automatically generates reminders and allows for personal calendar integration

CarePass helps employees take positive, proactive health actions with dramatic results which don’t have to take months or years to implement.
